   Proposal Description:
   Our overall goal is to explore whether depression is associated with increased risk of Alzheimer?s Disease Neuropathological Change (ADNC) in non-demented older adults. We will describe clinical characteristics associated with the risk and determine whether sex moderates the relationship between depression and ADNC in later life.    Expected outcomes: we will gain a greater understanding of the relationship between the burden of amyloid-B and tau neuropathology and late life depression. We will also gain a greater understanding of how this relationship differs between males and females. This knowledge will help inform future preventive interventions.
